What a handy kitchen item to have! Created by Lynne Killion, a Birmingham, Alabama potter, this wonderful dish functions as a saucer and zester. The center of the saucer is rough and designed to zest garlic. Add olive oil and you’re ready for dipping.
This large zester is created using an earth friendly process. Killion’s work is always made from earth-friendly material - natural clay. Everything from the extraction of clay from the ground (much less invasive than metal materials), to the handcrafting of the zester (as opposed to a manufacturing facility) to the non-synthetic glaze used, is environmentally friendly. Lynne uses every scrap of clay and glaze. She functions without the need for a trashcan! She also never buys packing material because 100% of her packing is with recycled material.
