Sandra Heaven of Arley, Alabama, hand makes our popular Alabama-shaped ornaments using Alabama clay. Sandra applies a beautiful blue glaze that sweeps across the face of the ornament. Sandra says this represents the weather pattern in Alabama, as our weather comes from the west and flows to the east. Sandra imprints ‘alabama’ on the front of the ornament and signs the back. She adds a charming beaded string for hanging. Although the thickness and weight is light enough for tree hanging, the style of the ornaments lends itself to year-round enjoyment. Measures 4 ½ inches long and 3 inches wide.
